Trackline — Terms & Privacy

This page covers what is specific to Trackline, the order-tracking app. It sits on top of the terms and privacy notice common to every Keelhelm app; read them together.

Trackline is a Keelhelm app. Using it means these Trackline terms plus the common Terms of Service for Keelhelm Shopify Apps and Privacy Policy for Keelhelm Shopify Apps, and on top of those the company-wide Keelhelm policies. What Trackline reads and does

Trackline requests read access to your orders, fulfillments, products, and customers to build a branded tracking page, send delivery-status notifications, and compute estimated delivery dates. It does not request permission to write to your store.

Your public tracking page

Trackline hosts a branded tracking page for each shipment. Because customers reach it from a link or by entering an order number, anyone who holds that link or order number can see that order's tracking status and the related order details it shows. This is how order tracking works; share tracking links accordingly.

Notifications and connected services

Email notifications are sent through our notification service. If you enable SMS, messages are sent using your own SMS-provider (Twilio) credentials — we pass each message through your account and don't operate a paid SMS service on your behalf. If you enable payment-processor tracking sync, tracking numbers are exchanged with PayPal or Stripe through your connected accounts. Your use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms.

Plans

Trackline offers Free, Starter, Growth, and Unlimited plans, billed through Shopify (monthly, or annually at a discount). Current prices and limits are on the pricing page.

Data retention and deletion

Shipment and tracking records are kept while Trackline is installed and are deleted or anonymized on uninstall and on Shopify's customers/redact and shop/redact requests, as described in the common privacy notice.

Keelhelm company policies

Trackline is operated by Keelhelm. Beyond this page, the common app terms and app privacy notice apply, and so do the company-wide Terms, Acceptable Use, Privacy, and Copyright / DMCA policies, incorporated by reference.
